There are 9 Young Enterprise teams in the Lothian area that are participating with the SCQF accreditation. Please see more details about the units below.
We appreciate that remote learning may raise concerns about the continuity of the qualification, however, please rest assured that we remain
committed to supporting learners on the programme.
As such, we have devised the following contingency plans with Glasgow Kelvin College:
The deadline for any outstanding resubmissions has been extended to Friday 26th February. Students should submit the work that is currently on
Moodle. If students have been unable to submit evidence for genuine reasons linked to COVID-19, then please let us know of this.
The deadline for submissions for Unit 2 has been extended to Friday 30th April. Please note that there have been no changes to the evidence
The deadline for Unit 3 remains Friday 30th April. The submission requirements have been changed to only the company report and Moodle will be updated to reflect this in due course.
The optional Unit 4 has been suspended for this academic year. We will also be hosting weekly drop-in sessions on Microsoft Teams to support learners and centre leaders. The details of these sessions will be announced on a monthly basis.
Please see below the details for January’s sessions:
Thursday 28th January, 4pm-5pm
These sessions will be run on Microsoft Teams, and links will be shared with each Centre Lead in advance to pass on to students.
Young Enterprise Scotland and Glasgow Kelvin College appreciate these are challenging times and we will be flexible with how we can support centres to ensure that genuine achievement is certificated and that students are recognised for their achievements.
