The Lothian Company of the year is Tartan Texts from Linlithgow Academy – our Congratulations and very best wishes to them as they compete against other teams from right across Scotland.

This year due to COVID–19 restrictions the Festival of Youth Enterprise Awards will move online as YES has partnered up with the HeySummit Platform.
The Company Programme finalists will all be interviewed online, and we will have a wonderful show online that everyone can join including input by Deputy First Minister John Swinney MSP as well as entrepreneurs Poonam Gupta OBE and alumni Bruce Walker.

In order to watch the Awards Event live at 7pm, you and your family/friends/school staff will need to register here: Festival of Youth Enterprise 2020

Please make sure that you have cast your vote for “Tartan Texts” in the Peroosh People’s Choice Award. Just under 7,500 votes have been cast in this year’s vote which is incredible! There are just a few days left and it is very close! Please keep sharing and encouraging your friends/family and all of their friends/family to vote for you! You have until Monday, 1st June 2020, 5:00pm.

Charity donations

The Lothian team are all vounteers and help to run the Young Enterprise Company Programme with monetary donations from all locations. Lothian Young Enterprise is a charity.

We changed the format and have received various excellent comments about the training, which was held for the third time at the RBS Gogarburn, this is very expensive and depletes our funds, hence we are asking if any of this year’s teams would make a charitable donation to the Lothian Young Enterprise programme.

No matter how small the amount all monies received will go towards next year’s (2019-2020) Company Programme.

The Lothian Young Enterprise bank account details are below –
Sort code : 83-44-00
Account number : 10822623

Please give your company name in the notes field so that the Lothian team can acknowledge receipt of your donation. Many thanks in advance.
