Link Teachers
This page is designed to provide guidance and advice for existing Link Teachers, but also provide information for anyone thinking about becoming a Link Teacher for the Company Programme at a school based in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
The Role of the Link Teacher
The role of the link teacher is complementary to that of the adviser and important to the successful running of the Company Programme. However, it is a different role. It is a facilitating rather than advisory role. You also need to avoid getting caught up in production of goods and services!
The link teacher will raise awareness among colleagues of the work of Young Enterprise and the schools' achievers, provide a link between the advisers and the school, support and encourage the students and identify links between work of the company and other aspects of the curriculum.
